Alcohol a "no go" at the wheel

On Friday afternoon around 3:45 pm, officers from the Apolda Police Inspection were able to stop and check a 39-year-old Opel driver during a traffic control in Bad Sulza, Waldstraße. Here, a strong smell of alcohol was detected in his breath.
A test confirmed a value of 1.25 per mille. Subsequently, a blood sample was ordered and the driver's license was confiscated, which did not suit the young man at all.
