A81 motorway, Stuttgart-Feuerbach district - Vehicle trailer tips over onto its side after collision with the guardrail

On Saturday, January 11, 2024, at around 1:40 pm, a traffic accident occurred on the A81 between the Gerlinger Höhe parking lot and the Stuttgart-Feuerbach junction in the direction of Würzburg. The 32-year-old driver of a Land Rover, presumably due to microsleep, grazed the right guardrail, causing the vehicle to skid and the trailer to subsequently tip over.
Neither the driver nor his 23-year-old passenger were injured in the accident. Two of the three lanes had to be closed for the duration of the accident investigation. The total damage is estimated at approximately 21,000 euros.
