Ahlen. Missing person found with the help of police helicopter
On Sunday afternoon (12.1.2025, from 3:55 pm), the police were searching for a man in Ahlen. The 41-year-old was in the area of the railway line and was in a state of mental distress.
Fire department forces assisted in the search with a drone. In addition, a police helicopter and a dog handler with a search dog were requested. At around 6:10 pm, the crew of the police helicopter spotted the man. Patrol car forces took the Ahlen resident into custody, who was later admitted to a specialist clinic.
