On Saturday, 11.01.2025, a burning garbage container is reported in the Neunkirchen district of Wellesweiler around 4:50 pm. The emergency services of the police and fire brigade are able to completely extinguish the 1100 l large garbage container, which is in full blaze, without any further major damage.

Through witness questioning, it is determined that previously 3 unknown children had ignited several fireworks of unknown type and thrown them into the garbage container.
