According to the current state of investigations, a 28-year-old driver of a car, VW, was driving on B292 from Helmstadt-Bargen towards Waibstadt, when she overlooked the oncoming 49-year-old driver of a car, Toyota, who had right of way at the junction to Bahnhofstraße and collided with him. In addition to the driver, there were two other passengers in the Toyota. All four people were slightly injured in the collision and were transported to nearby hospitals for further medical treatment as a precaution. Both vehicles were no longer drivable after the collision and were towed away by a specialist company. The total damage to both vehicles is estimated at approximately 20,000 euros. The further accident investigations are being conducted by the Sinsheim police station.
