Traffic accident on icy winter road

On Monday, around 09.20 am, the 24-year-old driver of a small transporter was driving on the K 178 coming from Pippelsdorf. Due to the icy winter road, he veered off to the right of the road and remained on three tires on the slope, so there was a risk that the transporter would slide down the slope.
The driver was able to jump out of the stationary vehicle and suffered minor injuries. So far, the recovery has not been possible, as the towing service cannot reach the accident site due to the icy road. Since it is a water protection area, the winter service cannot salt the road either. Further clarifications will take place today. The road is closed to all types of vehicles during the winter months. According to the current status, the 24-year-old ignored the traffic sign indicating this.
