Rear-end collision after overtaking

Yesterday (January 16) at 6:11 pm, a 55-year-old man from Swisttal was driving his car on Von-Binsfeld-Straße from Landstraße 194 towards Kessenich. A car driver came towards him on his lane, who had swerved to overtake.
To avoid a collision, the 55-year-old had to brake hard. A following 32-year-old man from Mechernich also braked hard, but could not prevent a collision.

The man from Swisttal was taken to a hospital with minor injuries by an ambulance.
