Oerlinghausen - Nissan driver simply drives away
On Detmolder Street in Oerlinghausen, there was a traffic accident in oncoming traffic around 6:00 p. m.
on Saturday afternoon. A Nissan Qashqai driver was heading towards the city center in his gray SUV. Due to vehicles parked on the right side of the road, he veered too far to the left into the lane of oncoming traffic. There, he made contact with the Jeep of a 38-year-old man from Bielefeld who was heading towards Helpup. The Nissan driver noticed the collision, but only briefly got out of his vehicle. After a verbal exchange, he got back into his vehicle and drove off without leaving his personal details. As he left the scene of the accident without permission, the alerted police initiated a corresponding criminal procedure.
