Fire scene investigation completed

The investigation of the fire scene in the house on Meininger Street in Schwallungen, where a fire broke out on Wednesday morning, has been completed. The fire cause investigators determined that negligent handling of smoldering materials or a technical device led to the outbreak of the fire.
Damage of over 100,000 euros was incurred. The resident, who suffered from smoke inhalation, has since been able to leave the hospital.
