Blomberg - Fell off the bike

Despite the winter conditions, a 38-year-old man from Blomberg was cycling on the long Steinweg in Blomberg on Saturday afternoon around 1:10 pm. Presumably due to ice, he slipped with his front tire on the cobblestones and fell onto the road.
Passers-by discovered the unconscious cyclist lying on the ground and immediately alerted the police and emergency services. Presumably because the man from Blomberg was wearing a bicycle helmet, he only sustained minor head injuries. Thus, he was able to be discharged on the same day after outpatient treatment at the Detmold Clinic.
