Driving under the influence of drugs

On Saturday evening, police officers from the PI Schmalkalden-Meiningen conducted a traffic check in the Obermaßfeld area. At 20:45, a VW Golf was checked and the 18-year-old female driver was examined more closely.
A drug test carried out reacted positively to amphetamine, so a blood sample had to be taken. In addition to a fine of at least 500 EUR, the novice driver can expect a one-month driving ban and a mandatory retraining.
