Kehl, Willstätt - With Alcohol and Without a Driving License

On Thursday, a check by officers from the Kehl police station proved disastrous for two motorists. Initially, a Peugeot driver with around 0.7 per mille of alcohol was targeted by the patrol crew at 3:20 am on Strasbourg Street.
It turned out that the 30-year-old had his driving license revoked for 12 months. In the evening, the officers then noticed a Mercedes driver apparently speeding. At around 10:30 pm, the 25-year-old driver was also closely examined on the main street and was found not to have a driving license. Both road users were prohibited from continuing their journey and appropriate investigations were initiated.
