On today's opening day of the 2025 Capital of Culture, numerous events and demonstrations are taking place in the city center of Chemnitz. For the journey, an increased number of trains from various transport companies are being used.
This is also reflected in the high frequency of visitors at Chemnitz Central Station.

The Federal Police Inspection Chemnitz is on site with numerous forces to ensure a peaceful journey for all travelers. So far, there have been no disturbances.
