BPOL NRW: Federal Police arrest 52-year-old at Kleve train station

On Friday morning, 17th January 2025 at 11:50 am, a patrol of the Federal Police at the station in Kleve checked a 52-year-old German. During the identity check, it turned out that the public prosecutor's office in Essen was looking for him with an execution arrest warrant for embezzlement.
According to this, the convicted person still has to pay a fine of 230 euros or serve a 23-day prison sentence. The man was then arrested on the spot and taken to the Federal Police Inspection Kleve for further processing. After the police measures at the station were completed, he was taken to prison in Kleve to start his sentence, as the due fine could not be paid.
