B38 / Reinheim / Roßdorf several vehicles damaged by lost cargo

On Thursday, January 16, 2025, at around 3:43 pm, several vehicles of oncoming traffic were damaged in the area of the federal highway 38 between Reinheim and Roßdorf due to loss of cargo of stones. According to current investigations, an unknown articulated truck was driving on the B38 from Reinheim towards Roßdorf and lost parts of its load at irregular intervals.
A patrol from the Ober-Ramstadt police station was able to identify the lost cargo and eliminate the danger. As a result, the vehicles of a 45-year-old driver from Ober-Ramstadt and a 34-year-old driver from Reinheim were damaged at the level of the Reinheim district of Georgenhausen. Witnesses who observed the accident and can provide relevant information on the course of the accident and its clarification are asked to contact the Ober-Ramstadt police station on the telephone number 06154-63300.
