Unauthorized Departure from Accident Scene - Alpenrod

On 16.01.2025, at approximately 07:30 am, a hit and run traffic accident occurred on the L 288 between Alpenrod and Lochum. An unknown road user came into the oncoming lane in a right-hand curve, causing their left exterior mirror to collide with the left exterior mirror of an oncoming car.
Both vehicles sustained damage. The vehicle causing the accident is believed to be a black SUV (Audi). The Hachenburg police ask any potential witnesses to call the telephone number 02662/95580.
