Kleve - Follow-up report to the message from 16.01.2025; 13:53 o'clock

Following the fire of a barn on a farm yesterday Thursday (January 16, 2025), specialized investigators from the criminal police and a fire expert have examined the scene of the fire. Initial findings suggest that a wood-burning stove in the barn could possibly be identified as the cause of the fire.
The employee who was slightly injured in the fire, a 47-year-old man from Kalkar, was able to leave the hospital again yesterday. At the current time, the criminal police assume a low six-figure amount of property damage. The investigations are still ongoing. (pp)
