Südergellersen - Semi-trailer collides with car
On 16.01.2025 at around 09:00 am, the trailer of a semi-truck collided with a parked Skoda Octavia during a maneuvering process on Oerzer Straße. The Skoda was completely damaged. No persons were injured in the accident.
Lüneburg - Wallets stolen from car
Unknown persons stole the wallet of a 23-year-old from a presumably unlocked car between 15.01.25, 8:00 pm, and 16.01.25, 9:00 am. The car was parked in a parking lot on Lüner Weg at the time of the crime. Thanks to a tracking system in the wallet, the wallet was found nearby and the 24-year-old received his ID and customer cards back. However, around 50 euros in cash are still missing. Presumably the same unknown persons opened another Tesla parked in the parking lot and also stole a wallet. On the evening of 16.01.25 at around 8:00 pm, there was also a theft from a car at Am Sande. Unknown persons obtained the wallet with daily earnings from a taxi parked there. Lüneburg/Grapengießerstraße - Perfume testers stolen
On 16.01.25 at around 2:30 pm, three persons aged 16, 17 and 19 stole so-called perfume testers from lower drawers in the shelf display. An employee observed the persons putting the testers in their jacket pockets and heading towards the exit. A criminal proceeding for theft has been initiated.
Rullstorf - Speed measurement on county road 2 - 6 violations
On the afternoon of 15.01.2025, the police conducted a speed measurement on county road 2 between Rullstorf and Bockelkathen. A total of 6 violations were punished in about 90 minutes. The maximum value at a permitted 70 km/h was 110 km/h. The driver was a male car driver.

Uelzen - Thief flees - Police can stop him
A man entered a retail store on St.-Viti-Straße on 16.01.2025 at around 11:30 am and put goods in his jacket pocket. When he left without paying, he was stopped by an employee. He handed over the stolen goods worth just over 10 euros and fled. The 25-year-old was found and checked during a police search. A corresponding criminal proceeding was initiated.
Uelzen - Men steal clothes
On 16.01.2025 at around 2:00 pm, two men took clothes into a changing room in a fashion store on Bahnhofstraße. There, they put the clothes worth around 200 euros into a backpack they had brought with them. Then they left the fashion store without paying. Uelzen - Accident between car and bicycle
On 16.01.2025 at around 6:30 am, there was a traffic accident at the junction of Kagenbergstraße to Groß Liederner Straße. A 57-year-old driver of an Audi A6 was driving on Kagenbergstraße and intended to turn into Groß Liederner Straße. He collided with a privileged cyclist, aged 34, who was following from the left of Groß Liederner Straße. The cyclist was slightly injured. The damage is estimated at several hundred euros.
Oetzen - Noticeable driving - 36-year-old intoxicated
Witnesses reported an noticeably insecurely driving truck on the federal highway 493 between Rätzlingen and Rosche on the afternoon of 16.01.2025. The police were able to locate the vehicle and check the 36-year-old driver. A breathalyzer test showed a value of 2.16 per mille. The driver's license and driver's card were confiscated and further driving was prohibited.
Uelzen - Theft of tools
On 16.01.2025 at around 3:00 pm, two persons stole tools from a hardware store on Bahnhofstraße during opening hours. They stowed them in backpacks they had brought with them. The value of the stolen goods is just over 500 euros. Tips are being taken by the Uelzen police, Tel. 0581-930-0.
Uelzen - Speed measurement on the federal highway 4
The police controlled the speeds of the vehicles on the federal highway 4 between Tätendorf-Eppensen and Uelzen on the morning of 17.01.2025. A total of five violations were detected. The highest value among the measured cars was reached by a 67-year-old with a value of 157 km/h. The permitted speed at the measuring location was 100 km/h. He now faces a driving ban. Among the measured trucks, for which a maximum speed of 60 km/h applies, a 46-year-old driver was checked. A speed of 86 km/h was detected for him. Corresponding proceedings were initiated.
