Pre-trial detention after robbery in Schwerin

A 29-year-old man was arrested Thursday afternoon after he was caught in the act of theft in Gartenstadt. According to current knowledge, the man is said to have stolen goods worth 200 EUR from a supermarket.
A store detective observed the theft, and together with a 38-year-old store employee who was later pushed by the shoplifter, the women prevented the perpetrator's escape. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The police temporarily arrested the 29-year-old Georgian yesterday. At the request of the Schwerin public prosecutor's office, the Schwerin district court issued a warrant for the man's arrest today and ordered its execution.
