Cocaine sale thwarted

This morning, January 17, 2025, the Koblenz 1 Police Inspection was informed by staff of a Koblenz restaurant that cocaine was being offered for sale by a guest in the establishment. The location was visited by the police and the guest was asked to step outside.
As the potential seller was informed of the reason for the police's appearance, he suddenly tried to flee. The sprint was prevented by the police officers and the 25-year-old man from Westerwald was handcuffed and searched. During the search, a vial of white powder was found, which apparently was the cocaine being offered. The accused was taken to the station and appropriate charges were filed.
