Police operation at Tankumsee

The Gifhorn Police have been on duty with several officers in the residential area at Tankumsee since the early morning hours. The residents of a house on Lärchenallee reported around 06:20 AM that shots were fired at their house.
The first emergency services on the scene encountered the two physically unharmed residents. Alleged and so far unknown perpetrators could not be found either on site or as part of initiated search measures. The Central Criminal Service of the Gifhorn Police Inspection is conducting the investigations under the direction of the Hildesheim Public Prosecutor's Office.

According to the current state of investigations, there is no immediate danger for the residents of the residential area and the visitors of the Tankumsee grounds.
