Drove under the influence of drugs

On Thursday afternoon, a 38-year-old VW driver was driving on Christian-Zimmermann-Straße in Apolda. The 38-year-old failed to yield to a police patrol car on Buttstädter Straße and was subsequently subjected to a traffic check.
During the check, the woman appeared very nervous and had glassy eyes. A voluntary drug test was conducted, which tested positive for amphetamines and opiates. The 38-year-old was prohibited from continuing her journey and a corresponding report was filed.
