Traffic accident Cologne Street

Due to the report, the emergency service as well as the full-time station, the city center fire brigade and the management service were immediately alerted.

Upon arrival, the emergency personnel found that there had been an accident between two cars. One person was able to free themselves from the vehicle. A second person was, as reported, trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed from a second vehicle using technical rescue.

Simultaneously with the emergency medical treatment of the two affected persons, the fire department spread out leaking operating materials, disconnected the batteries of the vehicles and ensured fire protection.

The emergency medical treatment revealed that one person was slightly injured and one person was seriously injured. Both persons were admitted to nearby hospitals.

The fire department cannot provide any information about the cause of the accident and the amount of damage.
