Truck carrying loaded pig halves overturned - Exit blocked

HC/ Bielefeld- BAB 2- Gütersloh- Rheda-Wiedenbrück- A truck driver lost control of his vehicle on a motorway exit on Thursday, 16.01.2025. The truck tipped over and came to a stop on the roadway. The foreign driver of a truck loaded with halves of pigs was driving on the BAB 2 from Hannover towards Dortmund around 12:00 PM.

At the Rheda-Wiedenbrück junction, he intended to exit onto the B 64 towards Münster and collided with the guardrail in the curve. The vehicle tipped over and came to a stop on its side in the exit. Operating fluids leaked out.

The exit is currently completely closed until the truck is recovered.
