Particularly the theft at Stubbenweg attracted attention, where a vacuum robot and a wristwatch were stolen. Ongoing, intensive police measures strengthened the suspicion against a 39-year-old man from Oldenburg.
On Tuesday, police forces searched the suspect's apartment on the orders of the Oldenburg public prosecutor's office. During the search, the officers came across suspected stolen goods, including the stolen vacuum robot and the wristwatch among the items found. The 39-year-old from Oldenburg was then temporarily arrested. Yesterday, he was presented to a magistrate at the Oldenburg District Court on the orders of the public prosecutor's office. The judge issued a warrant for the man's arrest, who is now in pre-trial detention.
The further investigations are currently ongoing. In particular, the police are checking whether the accused could be responsible for further burglary offences.(1443199)
