Attempted fraud through shock call

Hardegsen, Wednesday, 01/15/2025, 3:00 PMHARDEGSEN (Wol) - No damage occurred. On Wednesday, an 88-year-old woman from Hardegsen was called at around 3:00 PM.
The unknown person posed as a police officer and claimed that a family member had caused a fatal traffic accident. To avoid an arrest, a bail of 40,000 Euros was necessary.

The woman from Hardegsen stated that she did not have such amounts. The unknown person then ended the conversation.
