Fire outbreak in half-timbered house in Bebra

He immediately alerted emergency services and a neighbor, who was able to prevent the further spread of the fire with a fire extinguisher. All seven residents of the house were evacuated by the fire department. Five people were examined in the hospital on suspicion of smoke inhalation, but were able to be discharged after outpatient care. The mayor of the city of Bebra was on site and coordinated the accommodation of the people who could not initially return to their apartments due to the smoke development. The damage is estimated at 100,000 euros. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. The criminal police were on site and have taken over the investigation.
