Witnesses sought after burglary

Between the 11th of January 2025 and the 14th of January 2025, unknown individuals broke into the "Marina Saalburg" adventure shipyard site on Wetteraweg in Saalburg-Ebersdorf. By prying open a door, the unknown individuals gained access to the interior of the building and stole various tools and work equipment worth over 20,000 Euros.

Given the scale of the theft, a large transporter, a flatbed truck or similar must have been used to transport the stolen goods.

The KPI Saalfeld conducted a search for and secured evidence.

Witnesses who noticed suspicious persons or vehicles during the period of the crime are asked to contact the police in Schleiz with relevant information, quoting the case number 0011835.
