Cyclists CollideAccording to initial findings, a cyclist suffered minor injuries in a traffic accident on Tuesday evening in Gustav-Schwab-Straße. An 18-year-old was riding a pedelec on the shared pedestrian and cycle path in Gustav-Schwab-Straße towards Alteburgstraße at around 9.40 pm.
Shortly before the intersection with the street Auf der Bloß, a 28-year-old cyclist came towards him. Both men apparently wanted to swerve in the same direction and collided. The 28-year-old was taken to the hospital by the emergency services for further examination. The police estimate the damage at around 150 euros. (rd)
