BPOLI-OG: Federal Police investigating for extortionate robbery

On Monday afternoon (13.01), two Moroccan nationals attempted to evade ticket inspection on a regional train. In the process, they pushed the two train attendants and tried to escape the inspection.
At the Offenburg-Kreisschulzentrum stop, the 21 and 27-year-old were apprehended by the Federal Police. During the police measures initiated there, it was found that the two men had entered the federal territory illegally and had already been denied entry into Germany on New Year's Day. They face charges of robbery, fraud and illegal entry.
