BPOLI C: Unattended backpack causes closure at Chemnitz main station

Due to an unattended piece of luggage, tracks 1-9 and the cross-platform at Chemnitz main station are currently closed. At around 10:31 am, a witness reported an unattended backpack to the federal police at platform 5 of Chemnitz main station.
Even an announcement over the loudspeaker system did not lead to the owner being found.

As a result, the cross-platform and tracks 1-9 were closed and the bomb disposal unit of the federal police was requested. They are expected to arrive at Chemnitz main station around 12:30 pm.
