Arrests after shoplifting

On Wednesday, a shoplifting incident occurred on Bahnstraße in Marsberg. According to current findings of the criminal police, two Romanian women aged 33 and 34 from Oberhausen stole several items from a store, valued in the three-digit euro range.
The individuals were apprehended in the vicinity of the store based on witness information. Initial investigations on site suggested that the women may also be responsible for other similar offenses. The perpetrators' vehicle was found in the surrounding area and searched. The officers were able to secure a large number of items, which are most likely from further thefts. It is possible that this is a case of gang-related crime. The two women from Oberhausen were temporarily arrested. The criminal police have taken over the investigations in this case.
