(BC) Burgrieden - Lost control over car / A car ended up in the bushes next to the road on Tuesday near Burgrieden

The accident occurred around 2:15 pm on the road between Burgrieden-Rot and Laupheim. Just before the roundabout at the level of Bühl, a 64-year-old man was driving his Skoda.
He apparently had a medical problem and lost control of his car. The driver steered to the left into the green strip and mowed down the undergrowth there. The Skoda came to a stop in a ditch. The driver was not injured in the collision. However, he was taken to a hospital as a precaution by the rescue service due to the sudden problem. The three other passengers got away with a fright. They all were able to go home. Fortunately, there was no oncoming traffic at the time of the accident. The police estimate the damage to property at around 5,000 euros.
