The public prosecutor's office and Stuttgart police announce

Police officers arrested two men, aged 19 and 32, early Sunday morning (12.01.2025) who are alleged to have robbed a 29-year-old man of his mobile phone at Börsenplatz. The 29-year-old man was walking at Börsenplatz around 03:20 am when the two suspects allegedly attacked him and knocked him down.
During the ensuing scuffle, the 19-year-old is said to have taken the victim's mobile phone, while the 32-year-old allegedly helped to pin the victim to the ground. The two men initially managed to escape but were later arrested during the search operation. The 19-year-old, a Tunisian national, was presented to a magistrate on Monday (13.01.2025) at the request of the Stuttgart public prosecutor's office. The 32-year-old was released after the police measures were completed.
