Traveling without a valid ticket - Suspect tries to flee

Police officers temporarily arrested a 20-year-old man on Monday (13.01.2025) who is alleged to have traveled without a valid ticket and resisted being detained. Two ticket inspectors checked the young man around 2:00 pm on his journey on the U6 towards the airport/trade fair and found that he did not have a valid ticket.
At the Maybachstraße stop, the 20-year-old is said to have tried to flee from the train and hit a 57-year-old ticket inspector. The staff managed to detain the suspect and hand him over to the alerted police officers at the Löwentorbrücke stop. After carrying out the police measures, the officers released the suspect.
