Cyclist falls on the K80

On January 14, 2025, there was a traffic accident involving a cyclist on the K80 in the Traisen district. The 49-year-old driver of an e-bike was traveling on the K80 in a downhill direction towards Traisen when he fell for reasons that have not yet been clarified just before a slight left curve.
He was seriously injured in the fall and was airlifted to a nearby hospital. Witnesses who can provide information about the accident are asked to contact the Bad Kreuznach police station at Tel. 0671 8811-0.
