(Singen, District of Konstanz) Basement fire on Überlinger Street (12.01.2025)

Following a basement fire, several residents of a house on Überlinger Straße had to leave their apartments on Sunday morning. Around 11 o'clock, a fire broke out in the communal laundry room of the apartment building for an unknown reason.
The fire department, which had been deployed with strong forces, evacuated the residents and then located a fire in the rear area of the laundry room, which was quickly extinguished.

The fire caused damage to several power cables on the basement ceiling and other inventory. The extent of the damage is not yet known.

The police have started investigations into the cause of the fire.
