Public manhunt for suspected EC card fraudster

Already on 09.11.2023, a 75-year-old woman in Wolgast had her purse stolen from her handbag at the Aldi market on Robert-Koch-Straße, which among other things contained her EC card. With this EC card, an as yet unknown perpetrator then withdrew 1,000 euros without authorization from the Volksbank on Chausseestraße in Wolgast on 10.11.2023. Photographs have been taken of the wanted suspect, which can now be used as part of a public search following a corresponding decision by the Stralsund District Court, after the investigations of the Wolgast Criminal Police have so far not led to the identification of the perpetrator.
