(UL) Heroldstatt - Three seriously injured in turning accident

On Saturday, around 11:45 am, a 70-year-old BMW driver was driving on the L230 from Laichingen towards Heroldstadt. The man wanted to turn left at a junction to the B28 to continue towards Suppingen/Feldstetten.
At the same moment, a 23-year-old woman in her Mercedes was coming towards him. The turning driver overlooked her and there was a head-on collision between the two cars. As a result of the collision, the 70-year-old and his 68-year-old passenger, as well as the Mercedes driver, were seriously injured. All three injured were taken to hospitals in Ulm. The vehicles were all no longer drivable and had to be towed. The total damage amounted to approximately 20,000 euros.
