Perpetrator apprehended after apartment break-in

, there was a break-in at a residence on Asbachstraße in Weimar. The 22-year-old perpetrator gained access to the residential building through an unlocked front door and subsequently to the apartment of a 43-year-old woman. She noticed him and shouted at the intruder, who then fled, but still managed to steal 30 Euros. Thanks to a good description of the person, the officers were able to apprehend the perpetrator in the nearby area and secure the stolen goods. It also turned out that he was the same person who had committed trespassing and vandalism at the Schwanseebad a short time earlier. The 22-year-old was found to have a high alcohol level of 2 per mille during the measures and is now facing several criminal proceedings.
