BPOLI-OG: Internationally wanted criminal arrested

On January 10, officers of the Federal Police arrested a 45-year-old man during a situation-dependent control of a flight from Portugal. The Portuguese national was wanted by the Spanish authorities for unlawful detention with an international arrest warrant.
After being presented to a judge, he was taken to prison, where he is now awaiting his extradition to Spain under international legal assistance.
