Paid for civil courage with a hospital stay

On Friday, January 17, 2025, around 7:15 pm, a group of German Apolda residents, consisting of two women and a man, got into a verbal altercation with a group of foreign teenagers (16-18 years old) at the Brauhof in Apolda. When the teenagers wanted to attack the three individuals, a brave Apolda resident intervened and tried to dissuade them from their intentions.
However, they pushed the helpful man to the ground and deliberately kicked his head and face. Subsequently, the unknown perpetrators fled in the direction of the market. The 42-year-old victim had to be taken to the hospital with facial and skull injuries.
