Driving without a licenseOn late Friday evening, a 44-year-old car driver was checked in his Audi on Celler Straße in Peine. During the traffic check, it was found that the driver did not have a valid driving license.
Criminal proceedings were initiated and further driving was prohibited. Given that the driver does not have a residence in the country, a security deposit was also raised.

A few hours later, early on Saturday morning, a 29-year-old was checked in his Fiat on Stederdorfer Straße in Mödesse. The driver was also not in possession of a valid driving license. Therefore, criminal proceedings were also initiated here and further driving was prohibited.

Driving under the influence of alcohol and intoxicating substances

Already on Friday afternoon, around 12:20 pm, a 34-year-old driver was checked in his Seat on Edemissener Straße in Stederdorf. During the traffic check, there were indications that the driver was under the influence of intoxicating substances. A preliminary test confirmed the suspicion. A blood sample was taken and further driving with the car was prohibited. An administrative offense procedure was initiated against the Seat driver.

On early Saturday evening, around 5:20 pm, a 62-year-old driver of a Peugeot attracted attention with uncertain driving on the street Zum Wasserturm in Groß Ilsede. As part of a check of the driver, a breathalyzer test was carried out, which showed a value of 1.17 per mille. A blood sample was taken and the driver's license of the car driver was confiscated. In addition, the car keys were secured to prevent further driving. Criminal proceedings were initiated against the driver.

Another driver of an Audi was checked early on Sunday morning, around 01:45 am, on Kommerzienrat-Meyer-Allee in Peine. It was found that this car driver was also under the influence of alcoholic beverages. A breathalyzer test showed a value of 2.72 per mille. In this case too, a blood sample was taken and the driver's license of the car driver was confiscated. In addition, the car keys were secured to prevent further driving. Criminal proceedings were also initiated against the driver.
