Ulmer scores three points

A police patrol had the right instinct on Sunday night at St. Martin's Square.
There, shortly after midnight, the officers checked a man who was traveling on an e-scooter. The 23-year-old man from Ulm had reddened eyes and a clearly noticeable smell of alcohol. The breathalyzer confirmed an alcohol level of 2.4 per mille.

The scooter driver was therefore taken to the nearest police station, where a blood sample was taken. Criminal proceedings for drunk driving were initiated, and the man's driver's license was confiscated.

According to the penal code, the offense is punishable by imprisonment for up to one year or a fine. In addition, three points are added to the driving suitability register when the driving license is revoked. After SSV Ulm's defeat at 1. FC Kaiserslautern on Saturday afternoon, he is likely the only guest who will take points home from Barbarossa city.|pvd
