For this reason, the Bad Segeberg Police Directorate, with the support of riot police from Eutin and other forces of the Schleswig-Holstein State Police, carried out person controls of visitors who were on their way to the event site on Quickborner Strasse.
A control area was set up around the event location in advance. In this area, the police can determine the identity of persons regardless of the occasion and search the persons and their carried items.
In total, the officers, who were on site with an appropriately high level of force, controlled vehicles and several hundred visitors who could be assigned to the biker scene between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
From a police perspective, the operation was successful, various prohibited items and narcotics could be seized. In this context, corresponding criminal proceedings were initiated. In addition, the police filed criminal complaints for violation of the association law because individual persons visibly carried prohibited insignia.
During the control measure, Quickborner Strasse was closed between Bahnhofstrasse and Ulzburger Strasse. Ulzburger Strasse was only passable in one lane between Harkshörner Weg and Irisgang.
There were minor traffic disruptions.
