Bergkamen - Apartment break-in on August-Bebel-Street - Witnesses saw possible perpetrator running away - further witnesses sought

On Friday (17.01.2025), there was a break-in into an apartment on the mezzanine floor of a multi-family house on August-Bebel-Straße around 8:00 pm. An as yet unknown perpetrator gained access to the apartment via a balcony.
Relatives of the apartment owners, who also live in the house, became aware of the crime and saw an unknown man running away in the direction of Fritz-Husemann-Straße.

The police search for the unknown person was unsuccessful.

He was described as follows: about 170 to 180 cm tall, about 30 to 40 years old, slim build, white / light jacket, black / dark trousers, white shoes, removed. Whether anything was stolen from the apartment is not yet known and is the subject of the investigation.
