Driving without a license

On the late evening of 17.01.25, around 22:15, a patrol of the Bingen police noticed a motor scooter driving on the K4 towards Welgesheim. In the subsequent traffic control, the 42-year-old driver of the motor scooter, which requires a driving license, could not present a driver's license.
He initially claimed that he did not have his wallet with the corresponding document with him. The actual existence of a driving license could not be researched even by comparing it with the police IT systems. Confronted with this, the driver finally admitted that he does not have a driver's license at all. The continuation of the journey was prohibited and a corresponding criminal procedure was initiated.
