Witnesses sought after a total of nine car break-ins

During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, unknown individuals damaged several vehicles parked in the city center of Saalfeld. In particular, in the area of Lange Gasse, Claudiusstraße, and Schlossstraße, a total of nine cars were targeted.
Most often, the windows on the driver's or passenger's side were smashed and the interior of the vehicle was searched. No significant stolen goods have been reported so far, however, in one case a camera that was in the vehicle was stolen. Overall, however, significant property damage was caused. Witnesses who noticed anything suspicious during the period of the crime are asked to contact the Saalfeld police with relevant information, quoting the case number 0013715.
