Forest hut burns down - Arson

(CK) - On Wednesday evening (15.01., 19.05 hrs), the police and fire brigade were informed about a fire in a forest hut on the Feldflur Buchenhof. The deployed fire brigade from Nordborchen was able to quickly control and extinguish the fire, the hut almost completely burned down.
Damage to property amounting to 2000 euros was caused.

Today, the scene of the fire was inspected by experts from the Paderborn criminal police. According to current investigations, arson is considered as the cause.

The police are looking for witnesses and ask:
