Collision during overtaking

Reichlos. On Tuesday (14.01.), around 14.15, a 42-year-old car driver was driving his Skoda Oktavia on the state road from Gunzenau towards Reichlos. According to current knowledge, the 42-year-old wanted to overtake the truck of a 38-year-old driving in front of him, when a 61-year-old Ford Kuga driver came towards him. Although the 42-year-old driver tried to avoid the collision, he could not prevent it. The impact of the collision threw the Skoda against the truck. Fortunately, all three drivers remained uninjured. The total damage is estimated at around 50,000 euros.
